You wake up in darkness.
There's a slow drip drip drip coming from somewhere above.
Suddenly,
You close your eyes.
Rapidly blink.
A few seconds pass before you can
Your surroundings are quite barren.
The walls are painted white, along with the ceiling.
You're laying down on a mattress.
You take a look at the mattress' tag.
It's a comfy HELIX Moonlight mattress.
Under and around the mattress is a dark hardwood floor.
You lay back onto the mattress.
You end up falling asleep.
And never wake up.
To your left is the bright light.
To your right, water is slowly dripping from the ceiling into a bucket.
You see through a window to another room. It’s exactly like the one you’re in, besides the addition of two fluorescent lights, the lack of water dripping into a pail, and the lack of any mattresses.
There are two figures.
You can’t see them very well, but you can tell that they are nearly identical.
You stand up.
Walk to the window.
And hit it.
You stand up and walk over to the window.
The two figures are arguing about IKEA furniture, which doesn’t make too much sense.
After all, there was an absence of any furniture in the room.
